Challenges associated with DG contracts management Project deliverables must be submitted within the signed MOA period. Active MOAs are: 2016– 2017 cycle 1, 2016 – 2017 cycle 2 and 2017 – 2018 cycle 1 MOA’s have an expiry date – all evidence must be received within stipulated period to allow CHIETA to process payments and record SQMR data. Deliverables and disbursement funds work in tandem. Recruitment of learners and Induction. To be done soon after submitting MoAs and within timeframes. Learners to be given full induction – must know rules and regulations. Workplace approval status needed (Approval by CHIETA or Other SETAs) Apprenticeships : Agreements must be signed by all parties before the programme starts Learnerships: Agreements must be signed by all parties before the programme starts. Learner contracts must be completed in full and accurately. ID copies and copies of qualifications must be legible and certified. Accurate names of programmes and codes. Accurate start and end dates. Beware of out of scope evidence. Project deliverables/evidence for tranche payments must be relevant and in accordance with the CHIETA’s financial year i.e. 01 April 2017 – 31 March 2018. Please submit reports timeously.
