ADaExpert software Tutorial This tutorial demonstrates all the main stes of demonstrates typical procedure of adiabatic data processing and analysis. Follow the instructions printed in bold and underlined Begin

Read this guide, then Click Open 

2. Select necessary Data Volume 1. Select necessary Folder 3. Select necessary Data Set 4. Press OK

Click Data Settings to check

1. Check and modify Units and auxiliary information 2. Press Done

Click Editing parameters to check

Check and modify parameters. If phi-factor was not calculated, then 3. Check the Rated checkbox Check and modify parameters. If phi-factor was not calculated, then 4. Click Calculator 5. Press Done

Build derivatives dT/dt & dP/dt: Select Derivatives and press Apply, confirm the results Build derivatives dT/dt & dP/dt: 1. Click Build responses

3. Click Close

Derivatives will be recalculated automatically View derivatives in Arrhenius plot: Click Log button Click S Tab to go back Observation: curves near max are too noisy. Next step – go to integrals for smoothing. Derivatives will be recalculated automatically

1. Click Smoothing Smoothing data

2. Move Marks 1 and 2(blue and green) so as to select data fragment for smoothing. Use navigation keys Smoothing data 3. Select responses to smooth 4. Select filter type (linear, parabolic, …) and define its parameter 5. Click Apply and confirm (Sometimes repeated smoothing is useful for better results) 6. Click Close to finalize

Now level of noises is acceptable Now level of noises is acceptable. Click S Tab for further processing of integrals To check quality of smoothing go back to derivative page. Click dS/dt Tab

Edit data if necessary. Example – cutting the tail. To do this: 1. Click Editing data

Example – cutting the tail. To do this: Move Marks 1 and 2(blue and green) so as to select data for deleting Click here to continue Edit data if necessary. Example – cutting the tail. To do this:
