How it is transmitted Rats are the prime candiate of holding the bacteria of the plague Fleas then drinks the rats blood causing the bacteria to enter the fleas system The bacteria rapidly muliplies in the abdomen of the flea The fleas then bites the human The Human is infected quickly NL
How it starts First you will get some swelling either in the groin or under the armpit. The swelling will then bleed and start to pus. When it starts to bleed is when you start to have some of the symptoms. NL

How it spreads in the body The Black Death was transmitted by a bacillus called Yersina Pestis. Bacillus travels from person to person or through the air. Also through the bite of an infected fleas or rats. NL
