The “ME”-attitudes Satan’s Beatitudes

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Jesus says… “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are the poor sure in spirit. Satan says… Blessed are the poor sure in spirit. But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” (James 4:6) For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Jesus says… “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are those who mourn scorn. Satan says… Blessed are those who mourn scorn. “seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, (1 Timothy 4:2) Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.” (2 Peter 3:3-4)

“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Jesus says… “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are the meek weak. Satan says… Blessed are the meek weak. This I say therefore, and affirm together with the Lord, that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind, being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart) and they, having become callous, have given themselves over to sensuality, for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness. (Ephesians 4:17-19)

Jesus says… “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

Satan says… Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness their rights. promising them freedom while they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by what a man is overcome, by this he is enslaved. (2 Peter 2:19) Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. (Romans 12:19)

“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. Jesus says… “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.

Blessed are the merciful merciless. Satan says… Blessed are the merciful merciless. “So shall My heavenly Father also do to you, if each of you does not forgive his brother from your heart.” (Matthew 18:35)

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Jesus says… “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Blessed are the pure poor in heart. Satan says… Blessed are the pure poor in heart. Some, to be sure, are preaching Christ even from envy and strife, but some also from good will; the latter do it out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel; the former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition, rather than from pure motives, thinking to cause me distress in my imprisonment. What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed; and in this I rejoice, yes, and I will rejoice. (Philippians 1:15-18)

I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13) Our mouth has spoken freely to you, O Corinthians, our heart is opened wide. You are not restrained by us, but you are restrained in your own affections. Now in a like exchange—I speak as to children—open wide to us also. (2 Corinthians 6:11-13)

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Jesus says… “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

Blessed are the peacemakers piece makers. Satan says… Blessed are the peacemakers piece makers. Now I urge you, brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them. (Romans 16:17) For lack of wood the fire goes out, and where there is no whisperer, contention quiets down. (Proverbs 26:20)

Jesus says… “Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Satan says… Blessed are those who are persecuted praised for the sake of righteousness. ”Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 6:1) “And whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted. (Matthew 23:12)
