Single ride tickets Can be bought from the driver of the bus/tram/trolley (cash only) Single ride tickets bought from the driver are not subject to additional validation Full price ticket costs 2 € Discount ticket costs 1 € ISIC card from home or Estonia

Public Transport Card The Public Transport Card is an electronic contactless personalized or non-personalized card which verifies it’s holder’s travelling rights. Personalized card is only valid with an identity document. Card nr.

Personalising the Public Transport Card The card can be personalized, i.e. linked to a particular individual. Personalized card enables the holder to obtain discounts The card can be personalized after you have received the Estonian ID card Can be personalized: at service points (1 eur) for free at www.pilet.ee by inserting the Card number, personal code and ID card number

Student tickets Available after the Card has been personalized In service point need to show proof of student status At www.pilet.ee need to insert the Card number, personal code and ID card number and tick the field “I am a passenger travelling on a discounted ticket and I can prove my right to the discount with a document evidencing this right” Discount 1-hour tickets cost 0,55€ and 30-day ticket costs 8,5€

Free public transport Available once you have registered the place of residence in Tallinn and received the Estonian ID card In service point need to show the Estonian ID card At www.pilet.ee need to insert the Card number, personal code and ID card number If you have personalized the card before and then become a citizen of Tallinn, then the card needs to be personalized again You need to write your name on the personalized card

Validation The card needs to be validated every time when entering public transport by placing the card in front of the orange validator Hold your smartcard against the validator Processing the information on your card. Your ticket is activated/your travel card or discount are valid You do not have the right to travel/you do not have sufficient funds on your card to purchase a ticket

No ticket or document? Passengers without a ticket or validation, and also those using the discount ticket without a document will be fined by imposing a fine of 40 euros.
