LITURGY: Adoration of God
[A paraphrase of Psalm 96:1-9] LEADER: Sing a new song to God the Eternal; sing in one voice to the Eternal One, all the earth. Sing to our Everlasting Father of all the good things He’s done.
CHURCH: Bless His name; shout abroad the good news of His salvation, each and every day.
Shine to the nations the truth of His splendor; describe His wondrous acts to all people. For the Eternal One is truly great and worthy of all praise; the True God shall be feared and reverenced above all gods.
For all human-made, lifeless gods are worthless idols, but the Eternal plotted out the vast heavens, shaping every last detail. Honor and majesty go before Him; strength and beauty fill His holy sanctuary.
Give all credit to the Eternal, families of the world Give all credit to the Eternal, families of the world! Credit Him with glory, honor, and strength! Credit Him with the glory worthy of His magnificent name; gather your offering, and present it at His temple.
Bow down to the Eternal, clothed in holiness; lay awestruck before Him, trembling, all people of the earth.
Greatly to be Praised
3 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable. 4 One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.
7They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of your righteousness. - Psalm 145:3-4,7
Lift your eyes, lift your eyes to the One Who's reigning over us, for He has overcome
Fill the skies, fill the skies with a song, As heaven sings along to glorify the Son
Who is like You, none compare There's no one like our God
Great and greatly to be praised Name above all other names
Powerful and strong to save Hallelujah, Our God reigns, our God reigns
Tell the world, tell the world of the love He's lavished over us, His daughters and His sons
Made alive, made alive, now we're free, Rescued and redeemed, the victory is won
Who is like You, none compare There's no one like our God
Great and greatly to be praised Name above all other names
Powerful and strong to save Hallelujah, Our God reigns
Glory in the highest place King of mercy, God of grace
Together let the earth proclaim Hallelujah, our God reigns, our God reigns
We lift our eyes up, behold the Son Lift our voices to sing as one
Hallelujah, our God reigns
We lift our eyes up, behold the Son Lift our voices to sing as one

10 All your works shall give thanks 10 All your works shall give thanks to you, O LORD, and all your saints shall bless you! 11They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom and tell of your power,
12to make known to the children of man your mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. 13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations. - Psalm 145:10-13
3 I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. 4 For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. - Psalm 108:3-4
Your Grace is Enough
Great is Your faithfulness, oh God You wrestle with the sinner’s heart
You lead us by still waters into mercy And nothing can keep us apart
So remember Your people, Remember Your children,
Remember Your promise, oh God
Your grace is enough, Your grace is enough, Your grace is enough for me
Great is Your love and justice, God You use the weak to lead the strong
You lead us in the song of Your salvation And all Your people sing along
So remember Your people, Remember Your children,
Remember Your promise, oh God
Your grace is enough, Your grace is enough, Your grace is enough for me
Your grace is enough, Your grace is enough, Your grace is enough for me
22 The steadfast love of the LORD 22 The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; 23they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
24 “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” - Lamentations 3:22-24
So remember Your people, Remember Your children,
Remember Your promise, oh God
Your grace is enough, Your grace is enough, Your grace is enough for me
Your grace is enough— heaven reaching down to us— Your grace is enough for me
Your grace is enough, I’m caught up in Your love Your grace is enough for me
Confession of Sin and Assurance of God’s Grace LITURGY: Confession of Sin and Assurance of God’s Grace If you would like someone to pray for you, a couple is standing by the INFO table in the back.
Psalm 143:9-10 9 Rescue me from my enemies,O LORD, for I hide myself in you. 10 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
Rock of Ages
Rock of Ages, cleft for me Let me hide myself in Thee!
Let the water and the blood, From Thy wounded side which flowed,
Be of sin the double cure: Cleanse me from its guilt and power!
Not the labors of my hands Can fulfill Thy law’s commands;
Could my zeal no respite know, Could my tears forever flow,
All for sin could not atone: Thou must save and Thou alone!
Nothing in my hand I bring, Simply to the cross I cling;
Naked, come to Thee for dress; Helpless, look to Thee for grace;
Foul, I to the Fountain fly; Wash me, Savior, or I die!
Psalm 51:1-2 1 Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love Psalm 51:1-2 1 Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins. 2 Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin.
7 Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.
While I draw this fleeting breath When my eyelids close in death
When I soar to worlds unknown See Thee on Thy judgment throne
Rock of Ages, cleft to me, Let me hide myself in Thee!
Psalm 79:9 9 Help us, O God of our salvation Psalm 79:9 9 Help us, O God of our salvation! Help us for the glory of your name. Save us and forgive our sins for the honor of your name.
Aftermath
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. - John 1:1-2
The skies lay low where You are On the earth You rest Your feet
Yet the hands that cradle the stars Are the hands that bled for me
In a moment of glorious surrender You were broken for all the world to see
Lifted out of the ashes I am found in the aftermath
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. - John 1:14
Freedom found in Your scars In Your grace my life redeemed
For You chose to take the sinner's crown As You placed Your crown on me
In that moment of glorious surrender Was the moment You broke the chains in me
Lifted out of the ashes I am found in the aftermath
And in that moment You opened up the Heavens To the broken, the beggar, and the thief
Lifted out of the wreckage I find hope in the aftermath
And I know that You're with me Yes I know that You're with me here
And I know Your love will light the way
And I know that You're with me Yes I know that You're with me here
And I know Your love will light the way
16 For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace 16 For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. 21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. - John 1:16, 2 Corinthians 5:21
Now all I have I count it all as loss But to know You and to carry the cross
Knowing I'm found In the light of the aftermath
Colossians 1:19-23a 19 For in [Jesus] all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.
Colossians 1:19-23a 21 And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, 22 he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death,
Colossians 1:19-23a in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, 23 if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven…
Glorious Day
One day when Heaven was filled with His praises, One day when sin was as dark as could be,
Jesus came forth to be born of a virgin, He dwelt among men, My Example is He
Living, He loved me; dying, He saved me; Buried, He carried my sins far away;
Rising, He justified freely forever; One day He’s coming— Oh glorious day!
One day they led Him up Calvary’s mountain, One day they nailed Him to die on a tree;
Suffering anguish, despised and rejected: Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is He!
One day the grave could conceal Him no longer, One day the stone rolled away from the door;
Then He arose, o’er death He had conquered; Now is ascended, my Lord evermore!
Living, He loved me; dying, He saved me; Buried, He carried my sins far away;
Rising, He justified freely forever; One day He’s coming— Oh glorious day!
And I know that You're with me Yes I know that You're with me here
And I know Your love will light the way
And I know that You're with me Yes I know that You're with me here
And I know Your love will light the way
One day the trumpet will sound for His coming, One day the skies with His glories will shine;
Wonderful day, my beloved ones bringing; Glorious Savior, this Jesus is mine!
