Review- Chapter 5 Pride was a huge problem in the church The brethren were puffed up over sexual immorality of which Gentiles disapproved Like today, the church had become tolerant of sin, accepting of everyone Righteous judgment allows us to judge sin, withdrawal, don’t associate with sexually immoral people

1 Corinthians 6 vs. 1- It was shameful for a brother to take his brother to law vs. 2- Saints shall judge the world, are they unworthy to judge small matters vs. 3- If saints will judge angels, can they not judge things of this life vs. 4- Find someone in the church to judge your differences vs. 5- They should be ashamed of their actions

1 Corinthians 6 vs. 6- They were airing their grievances before unbelievers vs. 7- Paul says it would be better to suffer the fraud than to sue a brother vs. 8- But they were doing wrong vs. 9- The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God vs. 10- Repeated, the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God

1 Corinthians 6 vs. 11- Some of you committed these sins, but you were washed; sanctified, justified in Jesus vs. 12- Things lawful for me are not necessarily helpful vs. 13- Certain things are meant for the body, fornication is not one of those things vs. 14- God will raise us by His power vs. 15- God forbid that we take members of Christ and make them members of harlots

1 Corinthians 6 vs. 16- when you join yourself to a harlot, you are one vs. 17- When you join yourself to the Lord, you are one spirit vs. 18- FLEE fornication!!! vs. 19- We are not our own, we belong to God vs. 20- We were bought with a price
