Mr. Barnhurst’s Classroom News August 30, 2017 Welcome Back! Thank you for the warm reception I have received. China is incredible and your child is amazingly, awesome! We are settling in well. Moodle is our main way to communicate. I have heard from almost all of you that you can get into Moodle. We have been getting to know each other. Classroom rules and expectations. Reading we are working on the foundations of our reading program. We use the Daily 5. Math we are learning place value and representing numbers in different ways. Cultural studies we have been learning about direction, location, and landforms. PARENT/STUDENT/TEACHER OPEN HOUSE September 5th from 3:30 to 4:30 ***It is very important to have your child stay after school on this day and not take the bus.*** ~We will all meet in the cafeteria and then make our way to our classroom 301.~
