Technology Building-Smart Class Audio Visual Training

Smart Class Equipment Smart Class LCD Projector/Built In Screen Control Panel Credenza (DVD/VCR & P.C. inside)

Smart Class Turning on A/v System Use the key provided to you by your department head to unlock the credenza.

*Make sure Master Switch is on inside the credenza. Smart Class Turning on A/v System *Make sure Master Switch is on inside the credenza. *Master Switch will light up red if it is in the ON position. Master Switch should never be turned off.

Smart Class Turning on A/v System Press the “ON” button located on the bottom right hand side of the control panel and the projector will begin turning on.

Smart Class Turning on A/v System Please note, if you’re touch pad is not working, there will be a remote inside the credenza. The green button on all remotes will turn on your projector.

Smart Class Turning on A/v System Press the “ON” button located in the center of the computer to turn it on. Pull out mouse and keyboard from drawer above the P.C. You’ll find the monitor built into the Credenza above the keyboard.

Or press button labeled “Input A” or “Input 1”. Smart Class Projecting a COmputer To display the computer, press the “Input” button on the control panel until the projector reads “Input A” on the top corner of the screen. *If using a remote, press “INPUT” button until you see “INPUT A” on the screen. Or press button labeled “Input A” or “Input 1”.

Smart Class Projecting a computer To adjust the volume coming from your *computer press the “VOL +” and “VOL -” buttons on the control panel. *Please note, volume must also be turned up on your P.C. to receive sound.

Smart Class Projecting a DVD To play a DVD or VHS open the compartment on the right hand side of the credenza and pull out the DVD/VCR combo player located inside.

Smart Class Projecting a DVD To play a DVD, turn on your DVD/VCR combo player by pressing the “Power” button on the bottom left hand corner of the player.

Smart Class Projecting a DVD Press the Eject button next to the DVD player to open it. Place DVD in player with label up. Push the Eject button again to close and load the DVD player.

Or press button labeled “VIDEO” or “Input 3”. Smart Class Projecting a DVD Press the “DVD” button on the control panel to have projector display the DVD player. If there is no “DVD” button press the “INPUT” button until the projector displays the word “VIDEO” on the top corner of the screen. *If using a remote, press “INPUT” button until you see “VIDEO” on the screen. Or press button labeled “VIDEO” or “Input 3”.

If there is no “VCR” button, press the “INPUT” button until the projector reads “VIDEO” on the top corner of the screen. *If using a remote, press “INPUT” button until you see “VIDEO” on the screen. Or press button labeled “VIDEO” or “Input 3”.

Turning oFF the A/v System Smart Class Turning oFF the A/v System Turn off the P.C. and DVD /VCR player and you have completed shutting down the A/V system. Please place back all items removed from the credenza. (remotes, mouse/keyboard, etc.)

Smart Class Turning OFF A/v System Use the key provided to you by your department head to lock the credenza.
