Senior Assembly

Common App Applications If you apply to a school via the Common App you must have: School Report Counselor Recommendation Mid-Year Report Final Report These are all done by the counselor and it is required that you contact your counselor via email or in person before they can complete them.

Mid-Year Reports If you applied to a school using the Common Application, you will need a Mid-Year Report from your Counselor. Please e-mail your Counselor to let them know this is needed. They won’t know to complete one for you without an e-mail request. The Mid-Year Report includes a Mid-Year Transcript When it is completed you will see “Mid-Year Submitted”:

Mid-Year Transcripts If you applied to a school and sent an initial transcript but now need a Mid-Year Transcript sent you must email your counselor. Do NOT add the school into Naviance again. When it is completed you will see “Mid-Year Submitted”:

Honor Graduates Honor Graduates will be determined by a Senior Rank run after Term 3 grading period. All outside course work in progress at TTU or UT online must be done before the rank is run or you will be eliminated as an Honor Graduate. This is a MOCK rank – it is not posted or used for any purpose other than to name the Honor Graduates for FBISD purposes This is NOT your final rank. Your final rank will be determined at the end of Semester 2. Honor Grads will be posted outside of the Registrar’s office by April 10th.

Graduation Survey

Graduation Survey Once you have decided on your post-secondary plans you need to complete the Graduation Survey in Naviance The survey is used to report: School you are attending Request final transcripts Note: final transcripts are not sent until after graduation  It should only be completed when you are COMPLETLEY FINISHED with college applications and have made a final decision.  All seniors must complete the RPHS Graduation Survey posted in Naviance by: May 5th to be eligible to attend Decision Day May 25th due for ALL seniors

Please indicate your post high school plan

Please indicate your post high school plan If you select Military you will answer question number two and indicate which branch

For the school you are attending you will select: Send Final Transcripts Please note: Final transcripts will not be sent until after graduation.

For each school in your list you need to indicate the Final Decision Conditional Accept The school has admitted you but they are requiring you attend a summer session or some other requirement must be met etc. Example: Texas A&M - Blinn Team or SFA – Pathways Incomplete You started an application to this school but never submitted it. Withdrawn You completed an application but withdrew your application BEFORE you heard back from the school on whether you were accepted.

For each school in your list you need to indicate the Final Decision Guaranteed Transfer The school has said you can attend a school in their system first for a certain amount of time and as long as you meet certain requirements you will be guaranteed transfer to this school. Example: UT – CAP program **Please remember to also add the school you will be attending into Naviance as well You applied to UT and were offered the CAP program. Mark UT as “Guaranteed Transfer”. You are attending University of Texas, Arlington for the CAP program. Mark UT-Arlington as “accepted”, mark “attending”, and request final transcripts.

If you plan on taking summer classes at a community college before attending a four-year university you need to send final transcripts but do NOT need to select “attending”

If you are enlisting you need to select “Attending” and “Send Final Transcripts” as well Please note: Some of the branches you are listed in Naviance as “recruiter” rather than the branch name. This is just the way Naviance lists them.

If there are any schools in your list that you never applied to then you need to indicate “Never Applied” If you started an application but never finished it you will mark “Incomplete”

IMPORTANT! At the end of the survey you have two options: Save and return later This will update your information and keep the survey open for you to come back to later. Use this option if you have made your final decision but are still waiting to hear back from some of the schools you applied to. (We need information on all the schools you applied to even if you are not attending) If you have done this by May 5th you are eligible for Decision Day Save and I am finished This will close the survey and you will no longer be able to edit. This should be done after you have results from all schools and made your final decision.

Scholarship Reporting You can report all scholarship offers – even those you are not accepting You must provide documentation (email, letter) You can fill out the online form or bring the documentation to Ms. Braucht. To guarantee that scholarships will be printed in the graduation program they must be reported by May 4th.
