Communication

Definition Communication may be defined as the means through which people exchange feelings and ideas with one another. This is done Verbally Non-verbally

Verbal Communication Verbally communication is communication by using the mouth. Examples of verbal communication are: Speaking Singing Voicemail messages Radio broadcasts

Non-Verbal Communication Non-verbal communication is any form communication that isn’t verbal. Examples of the non-verbal communication are: Miming Sign Language Texting/writing/emailing Graphical signs

Graphical Communication Graphical communication is communication ideas through graphical signs such as pictures, designs or symbols. Some examples are: Traffic lights Road signs logos

Logos A Logo is a unique representation of a company or business and is used for advertising or recognizing that company or business.

Examples of the some Logos

Traffic Signs Traffic signs or road signs are signs erected at the side of or above roads to give instructions or provide information to road users. It is a form of communication that is universal and hence could be understood by users of different languages.

Examples of some popular road signs Stop sign indicates that the vehicle must come to a complete stop. No right turn is allowed by vehicles. Vehicles at this junction must give way to other vehicles

No parking is allowed at any time. No parking is allowed during the times indicated.
