2017 PWNAGE 8WD WCD CHANIN IN-TUBE CHASSIS ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1). Layout all components Quantity Description 2X Chassis Rails TBD Cross Bars TBD Frame Gussets 8X Wheels 32X ½” Hex Bearings 6X Short Axles 2X Long Axles 8X 1/16” Thich ½” Hex Delrin Spacers (Not Shown) 16X McMaster Round Shims 8X Double Chain 17 Tooth Sprockets (Red) 6X Chains (Need to make using US Tsubaki Chain 16X ½” Heavy Duty C-Clips

2.) Press 4X Bearings into 1 side ONLY of both frame rails

3. ). Install 8X C-Clips onto 1 side only of Axles 3.) Install 8X C-Clips onto 1 side only of Axles Press against table or use pliers if needed

5.) Stand up frame rail and use clamp to hold rail in vertical orientation for next steps

6.) Install (1) round shim onto each axle and push all the way in up to bearing Push axle all the way out so shim is easier to install (Picture shows axle in when it should be out)

7.) Push axle in so that shim is nested in groove on axle to help retain for next step

8. ). Make chains, do not use master links 8.) Make chains, do not use master links!!! Use Dark Angel #25 Chain Tool Use paint pen to mark location of joint

9. ). String 3X chains on 4X double sprockets 9.) String 3X chains on 4X double sprockets Make sure that outer chains are on bottom and center chain is on top of both sprockets

10.) Drop chain assembly down through frame rail Wiggle axles into sprockets working from the top down, make sure not to drop shims

Check for shims under rail when removed from clamp 11.) Remove frame rail from clamp and check that no shims fell out and are on table where frame rail was clamped, if shim is found, redo Step 10 Check for shims under rail when removed from clamp

12.) Install remaining four shims onto axles Push up against red sprocket

13). Place remaining 4X ½” hex bearings onto the axles and lightly push into frame rail with hand

14.) Install 2nd C-Clip to insure axles do not fall out of bearings and mess up your setup

15.) Press in bearings Use 15/16 regular socket above bearing and 1-1/8” deep well socket below Note: Bearings may not press in 100%, this is ok.

16.) Use thin flatblade screwdriver to remove one c-clip from one axle at a time. Do not remove all c-clips at the same time!!!

17). Install 1X 1/16” Thick ½” Hex Delrin Spacer onto axle

18). Install one wheel onto axle MAKE SURE WHEELS ARE ON OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE TWO FRAME RAILS!!!

19). Replace C-clip onto axle

20). Repeat Steps 17-19 for remaining tires

22). Rivet Chassis Rails to Crossbars There are six gussets on top and six 90 degree brackets on the bottom
