Agenda Today’s Objective: Objectives MOR IT Leaders / Leading Change Institute Information 2016 Cohort Nominations Next Steps Today’s Objective: To provide you with information on the 2016 MOR IT Leaders Program and Leading Change Institute, participation criteria and the nomination process so that you may make effective decisions regarding the best nominations.

MOR IT Leaders Program Information Program Description (see attached) 2015 Harvard Cohort: Program Cost = $6,500 per participant (plus travel and lodging expense) 2016 Program Dates: January 26-28 March 29-31 June 21-23 September 20-22 (includes graduation) Participant Unit / School Magnus Bjorkman Bill Brady Beth Clark Ellen Gulachenski Tammie Lombardo Kristin Sullivan HUIT Harvard Business School Harvard Law School

Leading Change Institute Information Program Description: The Leading Change Institute explores higher education challenges, empowering librarians and information technologists to initiate conversations and take action on issues of importance not just to their individual institutions, but to the entire higher education community. Fellows in the Institute hear from speakers from a wide range of backgrounds who will share real-life problems from across the higher education landscape for which participants will be challenged to devise and propose solutions. 2015 Harvard participant: Pratike Patel (HLS) Program Cost = $5,500 per participant (plus travel and lodging expense) 2016 Program Dates: June 12 – 16, 2016; Washington DC

2016 Nominations – Criteria and Cost Participant Criteria: most recent performance rating of “Strong (4)” or “Leading (5)” Grade 60+ considered high potential leadership talent readiness and ability to be a national leader in higher education applies new learning and shares knowledge with others accepts change with optimism displays "Service Mindset" behaviors (user-focus, empathy, collaboration, accountability) must be able to attend full session (which includes multi-day travel) Nominee names due to Kristen Tagliamonte (kristen_tagliamonte@harvard.edu) by Friday, October 16th 2016 cost (to be borne by sponsoring school or unit): MOR - $6,500 per participant, plus travel Leading Change $5,500, plus travel

Next Steps Consider possible participants from your school or unit based on criteria in consultation with your HR partner Explore potential nominees’ interest level and ability to commit to the 2016 programs Send nominee names to Kristen Tagliamonte (kristen_tagliamonte@harvard.edu) by Friday 10/16 You will hear from HUIT HR regarding final FY 2016 participant selections the week of 10/26 Once the 2016 participant groups are finalized, HUIT HR will work with them directly to manage their program registrations with MOR Associates and the Leading Change Institute Contact Kristen with questions at x65791
