Have a go: Create a drop box in your test area Enrol a test student Submit some work See what Turnitin says. Objectives Awareness of Turnitin Awareness of using Turnitin for student formative feedback – ‘self’ assessment. Discuss various settings such as ‘small matches’ Understand that the % figure is only relevant in context Setup a dropbox Explain to students how to use the system Awareness of some limitations Understand that a POLICY is needed before Turnitin is used Know where to go for further sources of help.
