Homework Homework is set every Thursday Spellings set and tested weekly Most important thing is reading, please ensure they do this every night, it needs to be signed. There is a consequence for not reading at home. Reading records and reading books are brought in every single day. Library books also need to be brought in. The records need to show the amount of pages read, the title of the book, the date and signed by you (child can (if you would like) to write all but your signature)

Uniform and PE Uniform is really important, please ensure you supply everything. Texts will be sent home for any incorrect uniform. Please rectify any issues as soon as possible. PE kits they need to have these in school every single day.

Absences Please make sure your child is in school as much as possible. If they are ill contact the front office as early as possible. If you need to take your child out from school in school time please inform the front office and class teacher as early as possible. Pick-up is 3:30, if you have an emergency and are running late please contact the front office so we know. You can then pick up your child from the front office.

Teacher Contacts If you have any queries or concerns please feel free to talk to any member of year 3 staff. Mornings can be quite tricky, but in emergency someone will normally be able to speak, but please wait until the pick up ties if possible. If you would like to have a meeting about something please talk to the class teacher. Our class ‘surgeries’ are on Thursday where we will usually be free afterschool straight away.
