Use of radioactive sources in the country

Register of sources Information about sources are placed in to the database RAIS EPA is responsible for register of sources. L.T.D. “Center for ecotoxicological research” is responsible for all connected with radioactive waste Storage facility, including record management system which is based on the requirements of the quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025. All records exist in a form of hard copies and also in electronic form which is regularly backed up, in order that all of records and information are safe and secured. All sources are licenced by the EPA

Arrangements for disused sources Location: All disused sources are in Central storage facility Arrangements & resources for return of sources to supplier or other licenced third party Users of sources Category 1-2 must have agreement on the return of the source to the manufacturer Gap: No final solution for DSRS
