MORALITY: the character of being in accord with the principles or standards of right conduct which is opposed to conduct that is wrong
BEWARE OF THE INTIMIDATION OF IMMORALITY
Intimidation is to be expected from men who oppose righteousness. Enemies of Christ opposed what He stood for and what He stood against (John 15:18, 20, 22). Man loves darkness (John 3:19-20; 1 John 2:16). Christians are children of Light (Ephesians 5:6). Excellent behavior will be slandered (1 Pet. 2:12). Good behavior will be reviled (1 Pet. 3:15, 16). No-longer-fleshly lives will be maligned (1 Pet. 4:4).
Good behavior in Christ no longer lives in the flesh for the lusts of men. 1 Peter 4:1-2 God’s will, living to please the Lord takes precedence always (Eph. 4:10). God defines what is good. Luke 18:19; Romans 3:10, 12; 7:12; 2 Timothy 3:17 God exposes what is sinful. 1 John 3:4; 1 Timothy 1:9-10; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Sexual immorality is always wrong. God did not create the physical body for sinful pleasures. Fornication is sin; it is to be abstained from. 1 Thessalonians 4:4; 1 Corinthians 6:18 All sexual sins; all illicit intercourse A work of the flesh (Galatians 5:19)
Sexual immorality is always wrong. Adulterers and adulteresses will not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). A violation of a covenant (Malachi 2:14, 16) A breaking of one’s word (Psalm 15:2, 4) Unlawful intimacy and intercourse with another person who is not one’s God-joined spouse To divorce not according to the Lord’s teaching and then remarry is to practice adultery (Matthew 19:9; Mark 10:11-12; Luke 16:18). God condemns adultery (Hebrews 13:4; Rev 2:18).
Sexual immorality is always wrong. Homosexuality is sin just as much as fornication and adultery (1 Corinthians 6:9). God’s law is designed to expose sin including homosexuality (1 Timothy 1:9). Homosexuality flourishes when truth is exchanged for lies (Romans 1:21, 24-27). Increasing promiscuous society is fertile soil for men and woman to exchange the natural function for that which is unnatural.
