GP Vacancies We have one unfilled GP vacancy since Dr Cottrell was promoted to a new job in South Wales. We have hired locums to help us in the meantime. We are trying hard to recruit another GP but the post is still vacant. In the UK, 7.9% of GP vacancies* remain unfilled, twice as many as last year. We are told this is a national problem, but are keen to do our best to find another GP. *Pulse Magazine March 2013
