Graduation Plan This graduation plan is called the Foundation High School Program with Endorsements You need 26 credits to graduate, which includes the courses needed to earn an Endorsement.
Endorsements ENDORSEMENT: A cluster of similar career pathways that guide you to your career interest. Arts and Humanities Business and Industry Public Services STEM Multidiscliplinary CAREER PATHWAY: A pathway is a sequence of courses in your area of career interest. If you want to be a nurse, you would choose: Health Science Pathway
Personal Graduation Plan Each 8th grader will complete a Personal Graduation Plan. The plan is intended to give the student and parent(s) a guide to use as you progress through high school. You will want to review the plan each year to make sure you are taking the required courses for graduation. Each PGP requires a parent and student signature. We will require signatures with every Endorsement change.

Foundation with Endorsement Requirements To graduate on the Foundation Program with Endorsements every student must earn the following credits: 4 ELA 4 Math 4 Science 3 Social Studies 2 LOTE 1 PE, 1 Fine Arts 7 Electives including Pathway electives
STAAR TESTS English I English II Algebra I Biology US History PASSING SCORES: Level II Satisfactory Level III Advanced ENRICHMENT TUTORIALS start in high school where a student may have mandatory tutorials for gaining ground in a specific STAAR area.

Performance Acknowledgements Dual Credit Associate Degree Bilingualism/Biliteracy Advanced Placement (3 or higher) Meeting specific criteria on SAT, ACT, PSAT or ACT-PLAN Business recognized licensure or certification Performance Acknowledgements will appear on student transcripts.
Upcoming Dates February 29 - Classroom presentations to all 8th grade students at BMS. March 2 & 3 - Counselors will work with 8th graders on the computer to complete their PGP. May 11 @ 6:30pm in BHS Cafe: A-L May 12 @ 6:30pm in BHS Cafe: M-Z High school counselors will be available for parent conferences if needed March 4 -11.
