Capital Projects Division Functional Organization Construction & Program Management QA/QC, Safety, Training & Administration Capital Planning, Project Controls & Design Disaster Recovery Front line, face of CPD Independent oversight that provides our clients a level of confidence that CPD can deliver a quality project PNA, prioritize & select projects, develop project schedules & budgets All aspects of Sandy recovery efforts in one department Communication with contractors, designers, other CPD staff, NYCHA departments and our residents is a key to successful project deliverables Authority to review all CPD processes – construction, design, administration, document control, site safety, communication, etc. Limited funding with growing needs makes proper planning critical to our success Securing funding, master planning, design oversight, construction management, auditing & reporting Ensure contract compliance for ALL aspects of our construction contracts Ensures all staff is equipped with all the resources they need to succeed ; including, PPE, training, references, etc. Planning allows us to be proactive Program Managers provide most support and assist as an extension of NYCHA staff Monitor, track, and push all elements of the program from plan through close-out Ability to adopt specific programs, modify standard procedures or develop specific training based on real time results Designs need to deliver the product that our “clients” expect and deliver it on the agreed upon schedule and budget Accountable for ensuring that projects are completed with quality workmanship and in accordance with planning & design efforts Design accuracy is the foundation that ensures projects remain on schedule and within budget
