End of Clinton Administration Dec. 1998: Clinton is IMPEACHED by Congress He was accused of lying about a sexual affair with an intern Feb. 1999 Clinton is ACQUITTED and remains President. Clinton was only the 2nd President to be impeached Who was the only President to quit before being impeached?

Lots of people worried that: Y2K Year 2000: Beginning of new Millennium Millennium: 1000 years People freaked out Lots of people worried that: -Computers would stop working -Banks would lose all money, -Nuclear weapons launch -The world would end -People stockpiled/hoarded stuff
