74. What activities normally make up Joy’s summer schedule? A: She loves to spend endless days at the beach, swimming and sailing. She also loves to play with her cousin Celia. 75. Why does Joy think her summer will be ruined? A: Because Joy wasn’t going to sail and swim, instead she was going to the city and she doesn’t know what to do there.

76. Do you find it fun to watch people? Explain. A: Personal answer. 77. Why do you think Celia is excited for Joy? A: Because she wants her cousin to enroll in all fun activities with her.

78. What does the author mean when she says, “Joy and Celia were glued to books about famous African Americans”?. A: She means that they were really happy and focused on the books. 79. How do you think the community felt when they saw what happened at the Youth Center? A: Personal answer.
