Choose 2-3 photos that stand out to you. ​ Describe it. Do you know what scene its showing? ​ What do you notice about the people’s faces? Do they look happy, sad, confused, etc.?​ What part of the image stands out the most?​ Do you know what the historical context is? Can you guess?​ What do you think the photographer was thinking when he or she took the photo? How do you think the photographer wanted you to feel in response to the photo? Why?​ What observation about human nature is being made?

Do Now: Put your name on the card Select & record 1 claim about humans and their behavior as it relates to an image or the lyrics you viewed yesterday

Claim Sort Partner up with someone- your choice Discuss the claim statement and sort them from best to worst (each person will have his/her own sort to complete) Once you have decided on your rankings, glue into your composition books (don’t forget to label table of contents) In the margins, give reasons for your rankings
