Why Ethics? I think most people can be trusted. Fact: Of Americans between 18 and 29 years of age, only three in ten think most people can be trusted. I think CEOs of large corporations can be trusted. Fact: 77% of Americans surveyed say that CEOs cannot be trusted. I think most Americans have good moral values. Fact: Two in five Americans think the state of moral values is poor. I trust “poor” people more than “rich” people. Fact: The surveys show that we generally trust middle income people more than lower income people. We trust lower income people more than rich people.
