Verbal Bullying: Bullying with words Emotional Bullying: A person is made to feel isolated and ridiculed largely through teasing, shouting, mocking and ignoring.

Resources to stop Bullying Get help from your school. Speak up and tell someone! Get help from an officer in your school. And above all……… TELL YOUR PARENTS!!!!

Why I chose this subject The reason I chose this subject is this type of problem is not just in America, this is a problem across the country! And I wish for you all to tell others to pass around these next few stories…

About Bullying Look at all the students in your class. Chances are, some of them have been bullied more than once. These three were bullied as well, but their stories are FAR worse than you could think of.

“His Name was Steven” (Physical Bullying) Steven Urry was the kind of kid that would always want to fit in. He was teased before in 6th grade but soon enough, 7th grade came and his teasing turned into bullying. But this bullying was way worse. His tormentors “set him on fire with a lighter and an aerosol can of body spray”. It didn’t kill him, though. When he got home, before dinner, he hung himself. His parents were the real victims, having to see their dead son.

“The Death of Rebecca A. Sedgwick” (Cyber and Emotional Bullying) Rebecca Ann Sedgwick, just like everyone else, didn’t mean for her bullying to start, but she DID know that she wanted it to stop. But it happened too much, and just like that, she jumped off a “former Cemex cement silo” and killed herself. It started in middle school. She was “physically confronted and at one time, pushed”.

“#RIPAmanda” (Physical, Cyber, and Emotional Bullying) Amanda M. Todd, 1 month before her suicide, made a cry for help on YouTube telling of her story so far. In the video, it looks like she can’t tell her story by saying it, so she wrote it down on cards. She said on her video that she “Cried every night, lost all my friends and respect people had for me... again... then nobody liked me.” Eventually, she tried drinking bleach to end it all, but the bleach was pumped out at the hospital. 1 month after her YouTube video was posted, she hung herself.

Stop This NOW Am I ok with bullying? NO. Do I want it to stop? More than anything. Everyone, “band” together against Bullying! If we can stop this, we would have less bullycide victims in the world, and more of the leaders of tomorrow! And to the tormentors of Amanda, Steven, and Rebecca, I hope you’re happy with what you made them do…
