FMDRL History June 2002 - First National Library of Medicine (NLM) proposal submitted 2003-4 FMDRL pilot at UW NLM grant resubmitted in August 2004 3 year NLM grant started October 2004 May of 2005, FMDRL went live online for STFM members at the Annual Spring Conference in New Orleans.

FMDRL Mission To support and enhance the sharing and collaborative development of educational resources among family medicine educators through a Digital Library that includes resources for all levels of family medicine education.

Peer Review Process The Group is determined by the author/submitter The Group editor chooses 2 reviewers FMDRL alerts those reviewers by email in the same message that contains material for review The reviewers are required to turn around the review in 4 weeks, and use the FMDRL reviewer form The Group editor makes a determination of acceptance, revise and resubmit or rejection This goes to the editor-in-chief for final review before the email goes to the author
