How to Become a good Digital Citizen To become a responsible digital citizen you must: Respect yourself Respect others Educate yourself Connect with others Protect yourself Protect others

Respect Yourself Take responsibility and be accountable for what you do online, for what you post through technology will be saved forever. Think of the future consequences of what you post online DO NOT post inappropriate pictures of yourself Post things purposefully, think before sharing

Connect with Others Be clear about purpose Choice is powerful It’s the relationship that matters Use social media purposefully DO NOT let social media replace face-to-face communication with others
