Step 1: Title your notes (Chapter # and name) Notes Title: Chapter 1 HEADINGSAND QUESTIONS

Step 3: Write your notes on the right-hand side of the paper (skip lines!) Notes Title: Chapter 1 Abbreviate notes as much as possible (think text-like language) Skip lines between concepts to add information during class lectures For visual learners: illustrate your notes! Step 4: Create questions based on your notes, write them on the left-hand column in between headings Create different level questions throughout your notes Level 1: Readers can point to one correct answer right in the text.
