What are Cornell notes? “The Cornell note-taking system is a note taking system devised in the 1950s by Walter Pauk, an education professor at Cornell University. Why is it important to come back to the notes and revise the information? The notes need to be reviewed and revised to make sure they are accurate. The notes are never reviewed. They are to stay exactly as written with no revisions. The notes are a working tool that needs to be reviewed, revised, and summarized. The notes are to be erased and rewritten completely each time they are reviewed. All of the above
