T. Trimpe Types of Prints Visible prints are made when fingers touch a surface after the ridges have been in contact with.
Daily Trivia The earliest dated prints of the ridged skin on human hands and feet were made about 4,000 years ago during the pyramid building era in Egypt.
Dusting for fingerprints can uncover information used to identify an unknown victim, witness, or suspect; to verify records; and to establish links between.

Android App for Fingerprint Lock! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XT7Ur5Txe5M Do any of you have this?

Latent Prints http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mc_l1d--0nQ Use Silver Gray (some use black, white, fluorescent) Latent means _________________ Touch finger to your nose or back of neck and make a print on the glass in front of you. LIGHTLY dip tip of brush into silver gray powder Spin the brush over the print. You may use one hand or two (demo) When the print becomes visible, try to go with the ridge flow. Do not press down or use a sweeping motion. Use the lifting tape to place over the print at a 45 degree angle, and slowly work the tape down, trying to avoid air bubbles. Lift the tape and use the same technique to put on the UNLINED side of the index card Fill out the front based on the example in class.
