Lotus Display bowl Design by Ezra Stabler

Design Focus After studying existing culinary displays, I found that most of them utilized relatively simple and elegant dishes, without any moving parts. I decided to design a presentation bowl that stayed in line with this trend. I also was intrigued by the use of sectioned plates, which allow the display of multiple foods at once. I decided to incorporate this into the design as well.

Design Inspiration I took inspiration from nature, and looked at the Lotus Flower while formulating my design

Additional Applications In this example, a glass plate is placed on top which will display the dish, while the bowl sits underneath. Bowl could display raw ingredients such a spices.
