My Experience First rotation Breast oncology surgery Bilateral mastectomies and lumpectomies Collected patient history Made relationships with medical student and PA student on the team

Second rotation Sports Medicine Joint pain and osteoarthritis Performed a few supervised exams

Third Rotation Colorectal surgery Da Vinci and Laparoscopic surgeries Colectomies, proctectomies, bowel resection

Program Requirements Attend your rotations Wear your name tag at all time and wear white coat Wear proper attire when in operation room-scrubs, mask, safety glasses, closed shoes Present a five minute presentation on a patient/experience that inspired you Lastly touch on how it’s a great experience and should prove to be worthwhile for any premedical or pre-PA student
