Update on key MP queries so far Stats gathered since inception (20-Oct-14) as at 06-Nov-14: 32 queries raised, 18 closed (was 11 and 5). Key queries and responses: Which of my EDT lines can I use to submit data down? For those with multiple EDT lines with NG, technically any line. However, we need to know the specific IP address you intend to use so that we can ensure data traffic can come through to MODIS. What is the Registered Capacity of my BMUs for the purpose of ETR reporting? If you need this, then please send request to NG ETR box email. What is the status of the sample files that I sent you? TBC: Release of MODIS to allow external user access. w/c 01/12/14 (was 18/11): MODIS system rollout to Production. Note that Elexon system will not be available in the first 2 weeks of December 2014 to prepare for system go-live on 16/12/14. 16/12/14 to 04/01/15: Day 1 data load period to be organised in batches. Key risk(s) and issue(s): Risk: Unable to provide external users access to MODIS due to technical difficulties in integrating NG security layer with the MODIS application Mitigation: Alternative method being investigated. Initial testing expected Friday (31/10). Risk: Unable to provide feedback on MP sample reports Mitigation: Use of manual flow (via email) to NG Teat team. This is now possible since 17/10 when the pre-reg Master config file was successfully loaded in EMFIP (data used is aligned with LIO spreadsheet with a few exceptions). Updates on key actions: 1) Day 1 data preparation – When to submit the pre-reg Master config file relating to Company and BMUs? 23/10 Update: EMFIP indicated that pre-reg Master config data will be copied from current EMFIP Test platform. 2) Day 1 data preparation – When to submit the 3 years worth of data? 23/10 Update: Regulation seems to indicate “upto to 3 years of data”. Need to confirm this understanding amongst GB industry. Need to understand how much data the MP is planning to submit prior to go-live. 3) Confirm MODIS Design change on method of delivery of Ack/Nack messages to MPs.
