Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) Earning the CIPS designation & Membership Benefits International (excluding Canada)

CIPS Designation Application Process Upon completion of the 5 required courses: Complete the designation application located at www.nar.realtor/global/cips Demonstrate 100 points of international expertise on the application- 13 different categories to earn points. Must be a member of an NAR Cooperating Association in your country in order to earn the CIPS designation. If you reside in a country where NAR does not have a Cooperating Association, you must agree to abide by NAR's code of ethics and join the Cooperating Association if developed in the future.

CIPS Designation Application Process 2. There is a one time application fee of US$300 3. Annual NAR International REALTOR® (IRM) membership dues must be paid each year in order to maintain and use the CIPS Designation and membership benefits. http://www.realtor.org/global/international-realtor-membership

CIPS Designation Application Process 3. Submit your application via email to cips@realtors.org or mail to 430 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, Illinois, 60611 *All credit card payments must be submitted online using the payment link on the application. Wire transfer information is available upon request.

CIPS Designation Application Process 4. CIPS team will review your application and contact you with any questions. This process can take up to two (2) weeks. 5. Once the review process is complete and you are approved, the CIPS team will email your official approval email with a website link to access member benefits. *Each new designee will receive a Membership Kit via mail. It contains the official designation certificate, CIPS and REALTOR® pins and additional membership information.
