An 11 year old homebound pupil with cerebral palsy first appearance in school Before 2012, this St. Rita student had no formal education and was homebound.

PUPIL ACQUIRING SKILLS HE HAD MISSED EARLIER IN HIS LIFE By 2015, he could participate in his school and community. He is now struggling to read and write.

St. Rita School: Achievements The pupils with disabilities received free medical consultation and medication from Dr. Ekokobe Fonkem, a Neurologist and Neuro-oncologist on a medical mission to Cameroon from Austin, Texas USA in January 2016.

St. RITA IMPACTS HOMEBOUND CHILDREN St. Rita has actually brought hope and joy to children who would have remained homebound all their lives.

St. RITA CREATING AWARENESS St. Rita’s Children Education Rights Club uses placards to educate the community about the educational opportunities for their peers with disabilities.

St. Rita School: Achievements The school set up a small computer corner with two donated computers from a well-wisher. The computers are being used to support pupils with disabilities and their typically developing peers in their learning process.
