Subjects and Predicates Review: A complete sentence has two parts: A subject A predicate The subject tells us WHO or WHAT the sentence is about. REMEMBER? The predicate tells us what the subject does AND has a verb

Action Verbs Being able to identify subjects and verbs can help YOU with your writing! An action verb is a word that shows action in the PREDICATE part of a sentence. The action verb tells us what the subject of the sentence does.
