Program Content The program we are using for the preparation is based the book “I BELONG”. It is a Redemptorist publication, currently in use in many parishes across Europe. It is well-structured and allows for individual creativity Highly detailed and very colorful, filled with pictures, stories, prayers and activities We may supplement the book with additional information and material which will be supplied
Program Content Preparation to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation. Date TBC in 2018 This program will run for 18 weeks – minimum attendance of 90% is required to ensure your child is eligible to receive the sacraments Attendance will be taken each lesson Activities will include singing practice, sharing of prays etc. The aim is to enhance your child’s understanding of the Mass and experiencing a sense of community.
Role of the Parent(s) Parents are required to attend classes with their child every 4 weeks Parents will be required to cover weekly material at home with their child Volunteers will be needed to assist with various activities throughout the program
Role of the Parent(s) Please ensure your child brings the “I Belong” book every week to class along with writing material – pencils and pens If there is any additional information regarding your child which might be relevant, please let Fr. Hone or Robert know – in confidence, of course. This will permit your child to get the most out of the Program
