Career Advising Advanced Manufacturing Career Pathways Presentations Focused on possible careers, salaries, education needed, and multiple entry & exit points for education. 1700 High School Students Franklin County Granville County Vance County Warren County 68 Middle School Students As part of ‘Students at Work Month’ VGCC Field Trip 120 High School Students 80 Middle School Students

Work-Based Learning 29 Interns sponsored by EWIF in 2015-2016. 40 Franklinton High School students toured Altec Industries for Mfg Day 2015. 40 Cedar Creed Middle School students toured CaptiveAire for ‘Students at Work’ month.

Sustaining the Progress Active participation in Certified Career Pathways Planning Grant with Kerr Tar Economic Development Board/COG NCWorks Career Coach for Granville & Warren Counties. Hoping for Franklin and Vance to participate as well.

Lessons Learned Presentations Meetings to build relationships with industry Field Trips Include hands on/interactive activities in presentation Pre-planning/examples of effective schedule coordination between Community College and K-12.
