Brayer: a rolling tool used to spread ink Baren: a round tool used to press the ink onto paper. Ink : the ‘liquid’ that takes on the shape of your image.
Gouge: the tool used to carve away your design. Printing Press: a machine used to make many prints, quickly. Register: to line everything up so it’s straight.
Edition: The total number of identical prints (copies) made of one image. 45/150 Print #45 out of an edition of 150.

Process 1. find or make an image. 2. draw it onto a sheet of paper the same size as your plate. 3. transfer image to plate. 4. make test print to check for flaws in plate. 5. fix plate and test again. 6. make addition of 4, each on a different paper.
