Background RIPE & SINOG reached out during NIX meeting 2016 encouraging operators to establish a Network Operators’ Group in Norway NONOG 0: Participants lit on the idea and a few people took the challenge to form a basic community The initial group started out with an agenda to make a NONOG 1 with a general idea about NONOG to be organically driven by its community members NONOG 1: First chapter today coordinated with NIX meeting

NONOG.NET NONOG.NET - official domain nonog.no is expected to be redirected to nonog.net beware, some old «nonog» resources on the internet from another initiative.

Purpose and scope NONOG is a community driven group is a place where the telecommunication involved and interested people can meet and chat, share ideas and experiences, get help and help others arranges events (like this one), meetings and seminars where telecommunication topics can be discussed share incident information with the community, if wanted neutrally collaborates with operators, government and other similar groups to share information still considered «work in progress» - waiting to be formed by the community

Join NONOG today! joining the community is free! (of course) currently NONOG aims to provide communication channels through #Slack and traditional mailinglists website: nonog.net help us spread the word talk to colleagues, partners, vendors etc. anyone related to the xSP segment NOC, SOC and the likes 
