The Five Emotional Facts of Life…

The Five Emotional Facts of Life… Life Hurts. Unless we deal with pain properly when it occurs, it accumulates within our hearts. Very few of us know how to deal with pain. Time heals nothing.

The Five Emotional Facts of Life… Life Hurts. Unless we deal with pain properly when it occurs, it accumulates within our hearts. Accumulated pain and unresolved problems compromise our mental, emotional, spiritual and relational health. We all deal with pain in some way – right or wrong.

The Five Emotional Facts of Life… We all deal with pain in some way – right or wrong.  David Medicated His Pain. Solomon Motivated His Pain.

Ecclesiastes 2:9-11 9 So I became great and excelled more than all who were before me in Jerusalem. Also my wisdom remained with me. 10 Whatever my eyes desired I did not keep from them. I did not withhold my heart from any pleasure, For my heart rejoiced in all my labor; And this was my reward from all my labor. 11 Then I looked on all the works that my hands had done And on the labor in which I had toiled; And indeed all was vanity and grasping for the wind. There was no profit under the sun.

When you try to hide from God, you’re hiding from your Healer.

The Five Emotional Facts of Life… We all deal with pain in some way – right or wrong.  David Medicated His Pain. Solomon Motivated His Pain. Absalom Meditated His Pain.

Medicators cause pain because of their addictions. Motivators cause pain because of their avoidance. Meditators cause pain because of their attacks.

The Five Emotional Facts of Life… We all deal with pain in some way – right or wrong. The only way to stop the hurt and totally resolve it is to turn it toward God.

Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”

“Blessed are those who turn their pain toward God, for their pain will be validated, understood and healed.”

Emotional pain only heals in the presence of light.
