Let’s think about…… Your School Improvement Team How often do they meet? What is the purpose of the meeting? Do you have goal teams responsible for carrying out/overseeing/monitoring each of your improvement goals? Do they meet monthly? What is the purpose of their meeting?

Creating Agendas In NC Star AP/Principal/SIT Co-Chair/Lead Teacher create an agenda in NC Star for each goal team for the year Agendas include naming conventions and pre populated information Suggestion: Name the agenda by month and goal team name (September Reading Team, September Math Team, September PBIS, etc.)

Creating Meeting Notes in Nc Star As goal teams meet monthly, assign a Note Taker to take notes in NC Star Note Taker will have to use principal username/password

How to Monitor Plan in NC star Goals Teams will monitor plan in NC Star monthly Goal Team Representative will report to SIT (data updates, progress towards goal, action steps completed, etc.) Three Components Tasks completed (or tasks added, updated, etc.) Data collection and analysis (collect and analyze data throughout the year to determine progress towards smart goal and make adjustments, if needed) Reporting to SIT (goal team representative will report an overview of smart goal/strategy, action steps completed and data updates)
