Our imaginary forest To φανταστικo μαΣ δΑσοΣ E-twinning 2016-2017 The treasures of our garden

SCENE 1 Once upon a time there was a small beautiful town located at the base of a mountain where the oldest trees of the world grew. Those trees were very wise and they generously offered their wisdom to anyone who knew a way to ask for it. Animals, fairies and elves lived there harmoniously.

DANCE ROUTINE SCENE 2 The people of that town were very happy and always stood next to each other. They enjoyed their lives as the positive energy the forest gave out embraced them as if it was a magic cloak. The children went out on the streets and parks and played carelessly.

DANCE ROUTINE SCENE 3 During the nights fairies and elves used to come down in the town and make children have beautiful dreams.

DANCE ROUTINE SCENE 4 One day Mr. Greedy showed up in his shiny car. He impressed everyone as he was grand and fancy. All he cared about was making money; money was never enough for him.

DANCE ROUTINE SCENE 5 The small town started to transform ever since that day. Its people would now work all day in order to make money, LOTS OF MONEY. They started looking moody and depressed.

DANCE ROUTINE SCENE 6 People stopped looking after their animals and plants, not to mention the forest. The messages the forest gave off wouldn’t come to them anymore. The town was now filled with stray animals that people kicked out of their homes and no one had time to take care of.

DANCE ROUTINE SCENE 7 The children were miserable because their parents didn’t have any free time to spend with them. They missed their old pets and their walks in the woods.

DANCE ROUTINE SCENE 8 Back in the forest everyone was extremely concerned. They had a premonition of something evil to happen. Indeed, Mr. Greedy had a horrible plan regarding the forest. He planned to burn it all down and build it with big hotels and shopping malls. At that time all of the forest’s residents met and came to the conclusion that they could only use the help of the children and maybe of the stray animals –they suffered all this as well. They decided to send the fairies and the elves to talk to the children. So it happened, the fairies asked the children to imagine a tree of their own using all of their love for the endangered forest. They gave the children a little bag full of seeds and asked them to blow in it and then go and plant those seeds around the forest. The children planted the seeds and then magic happened… the most extraordinary and wonderful trees they had ever seen started to grow there. They were the children’s imaginary trees and they could speak in human’s voice. Right away they started to speak and warn people. The wind carried their voices to the ears of the town’s residents.

DANCE ROUTINE SCENE 9 In another part of the city the stray animals were assigned a great mission by the fairies: to watch Mr. Greedy closely and everyone else who would move towards the forest. The stray animals and their leader named Xout took action.

DANCE ROUTINE SCENE 10 So it happened. Mr. Greedy’s people appeared in the middle of the night and headed to the woods. The dogs surrounded them and kept them still.

DANCE ROUTINE SCENE 11 In the meantime, the adults of the town heard the messages that came from the imaginary trees and they were awakened. They all headed to the woods where they were surprised to see their children and the talking trees. They were notified of Mr. Greedy’s plans and then realized how much they had been harmed. They then decided to kick him out of their town. Since then they have been all living happily together.
