Reminders! I will be out on Monday. Be as excellent for the sub as you are for me! You will have a Most Dangerous Game Quiz on Monday! Your vocabulary practice on Monday will help you TREMENDOUSLY on the quiz Wednesday! Mr. Melton will be here to speak to you on Monday for 45 minutes! First outside reading project due mid-October!

Foil Characters A minor character whose situation, actions, or traits contrast those of a main character, and thus by contrast, sets off or emphasizes the major character. Most often (but not always) the foil makes the main character look better by comparison. Sometimes, foil characters may share some similar traits, but overall, they are usually opposites.
