Perception and Reality, Inside and Out What’s My Brand? Perception and Reality, Inside and Out The professional press is responsible for reporting the facts of a situation. Just as a doctor is responsible for diagnosing a sickness, a journalist is supposed to tell the public what people need to know to be informed decision makers. In this lesson, you discuss what journalism ethics are and participate choosing what to do in a difficult situation.

Branding: It’s More Than Just For Cows What is branding? Everything you see about a product…the gist A “product” can be something you can hold but it doesn’t have to be name, term, design, symbol, or any other feature that identifies a good or service as distinct from those of others The word "brand" is derived from the Old Norse brandr meaning "to burn” World’s first trademark was the Bass Brewery in England We’re going to switch gears a bit here and focus on one aspect of marketing, and that’s branding. What is a brand? A brand is the sum total of all messages that are conveyed about a particular product, through any mix of media. Studied 47 brands. Other brands that define the current teen generation include American Eagle Outfitters, Axe, Baby Phat, Facebook, Google, Hollister Co., MTV, MySpace, Vans and YouTube. Moreover, often, those claiming to be the most loyal nevertheless say they would abandon one brand for another: 19% would do so due to boredom; on in four would switch if a brand were to become too popular.

What’s My Brand? Fashion Quality Style Is a logo a brand? No. A logo is only one of those parts of the mix that represent a brand, but aren’t THE brand. For instance, the brand “Adidas” represents We are going to do an exercise in which I will show you a logo, and you will give me some adjectives for that brand.

What’s My Brand? Leading Innovation Must-have Is a logo a brand? No. A logo is only one of those parts of the mix that represent a brand, but aren’t THE brand. For instance, the brand “Adidas” represents We are going to do an exercise in which I will show you a logo, and you will give me some adjectives for that brand.

For instance, the brand “Adidas” represents We are going to do an exercise in which I will show you a logo, and you will give me some adjectives for that brand.

What’s My Brand? Just like you like it Fancy Bigger, better burger Is a logo a brand? No. A logo is only one of those parts of the mix that represent a brand, but aren’t THE brand.
