Point of View Foreshadowing

Class Launcher: Write an introduction paragraph for the following prompt: Describe the best vacation you have ever been on, and explain what made it so great. Remember to include a hook, background, and a thesis.

Point of View Point of View is the perspective from which the story is told. 1st Peron- I, Me, We 2nd Person- You, Your 3rd Person- He, She, They Brain Pop

Foreshadowing Foreshadowing is a warning or indication of a future event. Example 1: Cinderella Example 2: Finding Nemo Example 3: The Lion King Example 4: Jaws

Assignment: Read the remainder of Chapter 7. (Start where it says “She ran the car up to the point where it paralleled Mr. Griffin’s…) As you read, find examples of foreshadowing, and jot them down on your graphic organizer. Closing: Once you have finished filling out your graphic organizer, explain why you think the author changes point of views throughout the story. What does it add to the story?
