Lab Activity-Water race Make your prediction of how long it will take you to move your water drop around the race track using a toothpick. Race your water drop around the track and record the time. Now dip the tip of the toothpick into the dish soap. Race the water drop around with the toothpick that has soap on it.

Lab Activity-Water Stretch Make your prediction of how long your water drop will stretch Put a drop of water on the stretch activity page. Take turns “stretching” the water drop with just a toothpick. Document the actual length of the stretch.

Clean Up Replace the wax paper with a new piece of wax paper. Tape the wax paper in place. Wipe up any spills on the lab station counter.
