MISSION STATEMENT: “The Centers For Disease Control and Preservation (CDC) serves as the national focus for developing and applying disease prevention and control, environmental health, health promotions, and health education activities designed to improve the health of the people in the United States .”

PURPOSE: -federal agency meant to conduct and support health promotion -support and conduct prevention and preparedness activities in the United States - goal is to improving health all over
