Future Planning & Maintaining Momentum February 15, 2016 http://www.garrreynolds.com/preso-tips/design/

Objectives After this webinar you will be able to: Start to create innovative ways to work with partners without existing funding. Determine available resources and information that can be used to continue work during unfunded times. Identify ways in which partners can be involved and/or receive communication during unfunded times. Network with other awardees about ways they are continuing motivation during unfunded times.

Wrapping Up Your Funded Project Set Expectations to Ensure Continued Success

Keep Building Empower partners to help Divide up the work on your final report. Strengthen the relationship with your project co-lead. Determine who can find external funding or support. Plan for implementing Tier III.

Keep Building Acknowledge the work you’ve done What worked well? How can you use that to move forward? What roles should everyone play during the transition? After? Decide what is important What do you need to do to stay on track?

Make the Most of The Down Time Transitions offer opportunities

Focus on Resiliency Test Boundaries Freedom to Explore Use unfunded times to see what else is possible Encourage partners to stretch Research funding opportunities Freedom to Explore There are no expectations during unfunded times, use that to your advantage

Don’t Forget To Engage Consistent communication is imperative

Focus on the Simple Things Wrap Up Loose Ends Do all of the things you didn’t have time for (but are fun) during your project period Get creative, celebrate
