Similarities Between Thai and Australian Culture By: Eva Bunker

Agriculture Both Thailand and Australia have large agricultural industries. Thailand: Australia:

GOVERNMENT Both Australia and Thailand run on democracies. However Australia runs on a representative democracy. Whereas Thailand is run on a parliamentary democracy. (Wikipedia, 14th February 2014)

Influences Like Australia, Thailand has also had many influences from other countries which have caused the countries culture to be what it is today. As, the English came to Australia and significantly changed the way people were living here lived – by introducing new foods, eating habits and ways of life. In Thailand, there has been lots of influence from; India, China, Cambodia and the pre-historic cultures of Southeast Asia. (Wikipedia, 14th February 2014)
